Sat 18highlightRed-backed Kingfisher
Mount Penang Parklands
Continuing Red-backed Kingfisher, seen foraging near the top paddocks. Only the second record for the Central Coast it seems. (Moderator's Note: This bird was originally photographed by Carol Edwards on 27 April 2024, but it disappeared after two days. The only previous record was a bird at nearby Somersby in 1995 AKM).
