Sudetenland 1938 -1945
A philatelic story
The postal
history of Sudetenland 1938-1945 has not been well researched. It is my
aim to show and explain the various aspects of the story including stamps,
postal cancels, and postal forms that were in use during the period.
I will show
progression of changes instituted by the Sudetengerman and later the German postal
authorities after the take-over of Sudetenland. I will then illustrate
the various postal services provided by the German postal authorities.
Finally, I will show the changes that occurred when Czechoslovakia liberated
the Sudetenland.

occasion arises.
